The one very irritating thing about being me; is the half formed idea that just sorta pops into your head during the day. Ok I’m sure that other writers get this too and I will ask other writers about this once I actually meet them in the flesh.
Yesterday after work I was wandering to the tram and ended up thinking of the opening sequence for a new story. The story was about a psivamp sitting in a bar, some quick little observations and by the time I knew it I had the first paragraphs sketched out in my mind. It’s not something I’ll probably actually write unless it’s a quick pulp thing.
So the first paragraph isn’t really a novel or story but it’s a start and then I started getting irritated because I *should* be working on this project instead.
In regards to this project I’m half tempted to skip the end of this chapter with a filler paragraph with what I want to happen then go onto the next one.
In some good news for those who are looking forward to some new work from me, well I’ll be taking a trip to IKEA in the next couple of weeks and finally be setting up my workstation at home. It’s something that’s gone onto the long finger but if I’m to make any headway it needs to be done really. I’m hoping to have the next chapter written over the next couple of weeks now that I have free time again.
